Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which Australian visa is right for me?

The right visa depends on your qualifications, occupation, English language ability, work experience, and personal circumstances. Skilled workers with occupations on the relevant lists should explore GSM visas (189/190/491). Those with a job offer from an Australian employer should look at the 482 or 186 visa. Contact our consultants for a personalised assessment.

What is the Australia points test?

The points test assesses skilled migrants on factors including age, English language proficiency, overseas and Australian work experience, education qualifications, partner skills, and community language. A minimum of 65 points is required to be invited for the 189 or 190 visa. Use our Points Calculator to estimate your score.

How long does Australian immigration take?

Processing times vary widely by visa type. GSM visas (189/190) typically take 6–18 months from invitation. Employer-sponsored 482 visas can be processed in 2–6 months. Student and visitor visas are often processed within a few weeks. Our consultants can help you prepare a strong application to avoid delays.

Can I get Australian PR from India?

Yes. Many Indian nationals successfully obtain Australian PR through the GSM program (189/190 visas) or via employer sponsorship (482 β†’ 186 pathway). India is consistently one of the top source countries for Australian skilled migration.
